A little about me

The values that guide my work, and the approaches I take to create a safe, supportive space for healing, growth and reconnection

Online therapy session with O&E Therapy

Welcome

It can be quite daunting two strangers meeting for the first time. So it’s only right that you know a little more about me, my journey, my passion for helping others and my approach.

Hi I’m Natasha, (She/Her)

I created O&E Therapy as a space you can retreat too, a safe and grounded space to share the things you are struggling to say out loud.

I have sat in the other seat sharing my thoughts for the first time and the mix of emotions that can come with them, relief, shame, anger, fear, heartache and sometimes even joy (yes there’s space here for joy too). My own personal experiences and counselling journey would eventually lead me to sit in the other seat.

One of my favorite quotes is
'Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be see' Brene Brown

It’s a privilege and an honor to get to sit alongside you and be a witness to your pain, your strength and your courage as you begin to make sense of your experiences, understand yourself more deeply and explore who you are beneath the things you had to carry.

My approach

Person - Centred

I offer a supportive, non judgmental space to show up as you are built on acceptance. My aim is to ensure you feel heard, respected and valued throughout our work together.

Collaboration

Therapy is a collaborative journey, where we work together to explore your experiences and move towards your goals. You'll be supported every step of the way, with your voice and choices guiding the process.

Connection

Healing begins through connection- with yourself, your experiences and the therapeutic relationship we build together. As trust grows, so too can your self understanding.

Qualifications

I truly believe that learning never stop and I pride myself on continuing my personal and professional development to ensure you get the best service.

Beyond counselling

When I’m not working, I’m a mum to two wild and wonderful children. I have a lovely large labrador who often takes me for a walk. I am also a cat lover, I have a kitten whose curiosity often causes destruction. I love music and I love to read, I often have more than one book on the go.
